During office hours, we are fully equipped and ready to help with all of your emergency and critical care needs. If you find that you need emergency assistance after hours, we have a veterinarian on call 24/7 for established clients. Please use extension 0 and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number and brief summary of your emergency, and our on-call veterinarian will return your call as soon as possible. If you do not hear back from a veterinarian within 20 minutes, we may be occupied with another emergency or in an area without cell service.
We strongly recommend that all of our clients have an emergency plan that includes trailer access and backup veterinary care if we are unavailable. Our emergency referral recommendations are:
Emergency services are provided to our active clients in good financial standing. Active clients have an established veterinary-client-patient-relationship and have had wellness or routine (non-emergency) care provided in the last 12 months. We do not guarantee emergency service for inactive or new clients. This allows us to prioritize established clients when our staff and resources are limited and it reduces the burden of emergency duty on our dedicated veterinarians.
Emergency fee schedule:
Daytime emergency fee: $180
After-hour emergency fee: $250
Late-night emergency fee: $300
Emergency consult (phone): $35 (to be deducted from ER fee if we determine medical attention is required)
Active clients in good financial standing will receive a $100 discount from the above fees as a thank-you for valuing our relationship!
